Valley Regional Hospital Foundation is served by a volunteer Board of Directors who provide their time and talents to ensure the Foundation is accountable.
Together with representatives of our board, staff, volunteers and donors, the Foundation has determined these strategic goals moving forward:

Enhancing healthcare for the Annapolis Valley Community
ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT
Thanks to your support, Valley Regional Hospital is being updated with new tools and equipment throughout the hospital. As well as enhancing the care patients receive, this helps to attract and retain skilled healthcare professionals in our community.
PATIENT SUPPORT
In the last year, more than 600 patients required assistance to receive healthcare — for ongoing medical appointments, like dialysis renal care and chemotherapy; as well as to help with uninsured medications, and specialized dietary needs. With community support, and working with our healthcare navigators and social workers, the Foundation is able to support patients with these essentials.
COMMUNITY GRANTS & BURSARIES
Valley Regional Hospital Foundation is proud to give back to our community by enhancing healthcare outside the walls of the hospital. Through student bursaries to support the future of healthcare professionals, to supporting other organizations with common goals; our community is stronger and healthier together.
