Thanks to the generous support of our donors, the Foundation recently procured the Cardiac Investigation Unit at Valley Regional Hospital a new Echo Ultrasound machine. An Echo Ultrasound is used to provide information about the heart and its movement — the impact of this machine is far reaching, as it is continuously used not only for heart attack, failure, and heart disease patients, but also Oncology and Stroke patients.

This new machine replaces a model that was over 13 years old! Staff are excited to have newer imagining technology and be able to offer patients the best care possible. Pictured is two of the CIU technologists with the Clinical Application Specialist, and Dr. Clarke.
