A Milestone for Annapolis Valley Healthcare: $2.5M Operation Enhancement Campaign Success

This April, the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation marked a historic achievement—the successful completion of our $2.5 million Operation Enhancement campaign. This initiative represents the largest modernization of surgical services at Valley Regional Hospital in over a decade, ensuring our community has access to cutting-edge care close to home.

A Leap Forward in Surgical Care

Thanks to this campaign, 39 pieces of new or upgraded surgical equipment have been introduced, significantly enhancing the hospital’s capacity to serve patients. These advancements mean:
• Expanded local surgical capacity—reducing the need for patients to travel outside the region.
• Improved patient outcomes—with state-of-the-art technology supporting safer, more efficient procedures.
