FUND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR, Events and Community Giving

About the Position

Reporting to the Executive Director of the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation, you will be a key member of a team responsible for generating funds for the Foundation.  You will lead and supervise volunteers in coordinating, organizing, executing and evaluating Annual Fund and Fundraising Events.  You will also actively manage Foundation programs which provide ongoing support in a variety of healthcare initiatives to the community.

You will work closely with team members to promote the work of the Foundation in the community through a variety of social media and interactions and by providing input to communication strategies.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills and superior interpersonal skills.
Desire to work with a results oriented team in a fast paced environment.
Experience in non-profit Fundraising with 3+ years’ experience.
Post-secondary education in Fundraising, Public Relations or Communications.
