We are so grateful to officially cut the ribbon on the CT for Life Campaign! The new CT Scanner is in and is finishing the last of the materials equipment protocols before being open to accepting patients. THANK YOU to everyone in our communities, physicians and staff, Foundations, service groups, partners, and sponsors for coming together to make a big impact of healthcare for the Annapolis Valley.

Valley Regional Hospital performs over 16,000 scans a year (up to 45/day) which includes interventional medicine, diagnostics, as well as timely trauma needs.
As Dr. Michael Dunn says, “A CT scanner is the most essential because of its speed, accuracy and versatility that only improves with every generation of new scanner produced. Each renewal of our CT scanner has provided new opportunities to help our patients and physicians achieve their common goals of finding illness, intervening, monitoring response to therapy, and restoring health. Our privilege is to employ these tools to the best of our abilities to meet those goals.”
Every gift to our CT FOR LIFE Campaign is valued, appreciated, and impactful – THANK YOU!
