We did it Annapolis Valley! With the support of our donors, the community, businesses, Nova Scotia Health, employees, service groups and partners, we are proud to announce that Valley Regional Hospital is currently installing the new CT Scanner – and you have played a big part in getting here!
Valley Regional Hospital performs over 16,000 scans a year (up to 45/day) which includes interventional medicine, diagnostics, as well as timely trauma needs.
As Dr. Michael Dunn says, “A CT scanner is the most essential because of its speed, accuracy and versatility that only improves with every generation of new scanner produced. Each renewal of our CT scanner has provided new opportunities to help our patients and physicians achieve their common goals of finding illness, intervening, monitoring response to therapy, and restoring health. Our privilege is to employ these tools to the best of our abilities to meet those goals.”
Every gift to our CT FOR LIFE Campaign is valued, appreciated, and impactful – THANK YOU!
