Introducing Chef Peter Dewar, of NSCC Kingstec Campus. Chef Peter will be featured during our fourth night of the cooking series on November 25th. Grumbling for German? Let Chef Peter grace your plate with authentic treats that tickle your tastebuds.
Peter grew up in Riverview New Brunswick. His culinary career started at the Culinary Institute of Canada and he did his apprenticeship in Bern Switzerland. Currently he teaches Culinary Management at NSCC Kingstec campus.
In addition to his primary role at the college Peter also does product development for food company such as Graves and Pure Infused Maple. Driven by a love of culinary competitions he has been a member and coach of the Canadian National Culinary Team. Out side of his career, Peter enjoys teaching his two boys how to mountain bike and downhill ski. Foraging for mushrooms and owning too many shoes are just of few of his other interests.
