You can designate your donation to the area of greatest need or to a specific fund. Either way, your gift helps to secure the future of quality health care for Annapolis Valley residents.

• Give on-line (click here) through Canada Helps and get your tax receipt immediately
• Call the Foundation office at 678-5414 to donate by credit card
• Visit the Foundation office to make a donation using debit card or cash
• Mail your donation to the Foundation office

The VRH Foundation respects the privacy and rights of all donors and
subscribes to the Donor Bill of Rights.

VRH Foundation uses several methods to raise funds for equipment and services provided through Valley Regional Hospital. We rely on the generosity of many through various fundraising activities to reach our goals and ensure access to quality health care facilities and services.

Direct Mail Packages: We mail packages 2-3 times throughout the year using addressed and unaddressed mail drops. Our most recognizable is the Festival of Lights Campaign which coincides with our community celebration of the season.

Special Events: Our Festival of Lights Ceremony and Singing for Wellness Luncheon are two of our longest running successful special events. The Health in Harmony Radiothon was added a couple of years ago. As audiences and the popularity of events change, we look for new activities to draw people and businesses to our cause to raise funds for health care. In 2011, we are adding An Evening in Paris to our event calendar for April 2011. Watch for more information early in 2011.

Third Party Events: These events are promoted and organized by individuals, businesses or groups to raise funds for the Foundation, usually for a specific purpose, such as the cancer or heart fund. The Foundation is pleased to accept these funds and provide support where possible.

Memorial or Special Occasion Cards: We will send a card on your behalf for memorial or special occasions you wish to acknowledge with friends or family.
