Valley Regional Hospital Foundation - Making a healthy Investment

The annual Festival of Lights campaign celebrates “Giving the Gift of Light”. The community is invited to a Tree Lighting Ceremony where hundreds of candle cards from donors are displayed to celebrate the spirit of giving. The celebration, held annually in December, has raised over $1,404,000 since its inception in 1994.

Our fundraising event with K-ROCK 89.3 was a 12 hour Health in Harmony Radiothon. In 2009 and 2010, with the support from many volunteers and prize sponsors we raised $60,000 for medical equipment. Start saving your coins or organize a fundraising activity at your workplace, school or at home and you can be on air with K-ROCK personalities. Call our office at 678-5414 for more information.

The Singing for Wellness Luncheon and Auction traditionally was held on the first Saturday in May.

Our luncheon events had support from foundations, auxiliaries, businesses and the public throughout the Annapolis Valley. The events raised over $500,000 in support of cancer awareness programs and services. The Singing for Wellness event was truly a celebration of friends, music, and a common cause.
